The Codrington Trust and USPG Partners in Global Mission have partnered to manage and facilitate the Codrington Project for Renewal and Reconciliation.

As part of the project’s work to execute reparative justice initiatives and address the legacy of enslavement at Codrington College, we are pleased to announce the Codrington Project for Renewal and Reconciliation Postgraduate Scholarship.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?




Citizens of Barbados



Between 20 and 40 years old



Have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 from an accredited institution



Provisionally accepted to a postgraduate program for the academic year 2026-27



Demonstrate participation in civil society (service clubs, faith-based organizations, etc.); this would be an asset

HERE’S HOW TO APPLY

  1. Write a motivational letter of 1,000 words, telling us why this scholarship would significantly impact your studies and research.
  2. Save the motivational letter as a PDF.
  3. Upload the PDF motivational letter in the specified section of the application form.
  4. Upload a transcript or grade report as proof of your GPA in the specified section.
